Gershon Ben Keren

Gershon Ben Keren is a criminologist who has been working in the security industry since 1990. He holds two master’s degrees: one in Psychology (Newcastle University) and another in Criminology and Criminal Psychology (University of Essex). He has and continues to provide security training and consultancy services internationally for several government agencies, as well as companies and organizations operating in the private sector; his client list includes a number of Fortune 500 companies.

He is a 5th Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga (the hand-to-hand combat system of the IDF – Israeli Defense Forces), and a 2010 inductee into the Museum of Israeli Martial Arts in Herzliya, Israel. He has written three Amazon bestselling books on Krav Maga (Tuttle Press), and has presented two Google Author talks on personal security/safety and Krav Maga, the first instructing on the process of violent crime and the second covering de-escalation and conflict-resolution.

His Krav Maga training center is located in Woburn, Massachusetts (USA), just North of Boston (20 minutes) at the intersection of I-93/I-95 and 25 minutes from Boston Logan International Airport.
